Project is aimed for research of service quality and monitoring network infrastructure performance. It is obvious that need for performance and security features of network infrastructures is growing nowadays, according to convergence of voice, video and data services. Monitoring and ensuring quality of these services are very actual topics, which is also seen from activities of world leaders in communication.
Project goals can be distributed to four sections
Main goal of this section is development of BasicMeter tool in comformity with IP Flow Information Export (IPFIX) and Packet Sampling (PSAMP) specifications. These are actual output of workgroups in IETF organization. Original contribution above the specifications is measuring optimalization with different techniques involved in each BasicMeter component implementation:
